Hey there, and thanks for checking out my blog. My name is Katie Olivier and I have been a licensed hairstylist for over 16 years. I am a busy mom of 2 little ones and one teenage bonus daughter. I work alone in a salon suite, so I have no other hairstylist coworkers and zero time to do my own hair. Over the years I’ve had to navigate to find low maintenance color and styling techniques, so that I always look put together but with minimal effort. This is why I specialize in low maintenance hair color as well as healthy hair retention. I stay up to date with the latest hair trends and techniques used to achieve them because the beauty industry is an ever changing world.
I also have a passion for education which is why I started this blog. I hope to better educate my clients and hair enthusiasts world wide on how to care for and maintain their hair. Thru this blog I will be teaching everything from simple tips and tricks to full on tutorials on how to do certain hairstyles and hair maintenance techniques. I had to struggle to find the things that would work for me so I want to save you the time and effort. I want each and every one of my readers to not only know what they need to be asking for in the chair (even though it’s your stylists job to know that) but be able to maintain their hair at home the correct way in between salons visits.
